How were you able to find the page where you can file a complaint? I looked it up because the online form is only about donations.

And apparently PayPal's own article about it doesn't exist, and the survey button straight up doesn't work.

Just a quick heads up for everyone else here, when I called Visa, the customer service person sounded very tired of this kind of thing and gave me an email address instead. I probably shouldn’t post it here for privacy reasons, but just be prepared to do a little bit more legwork.

For the Mastercard US number, I'm unable to access a human representative at all through their menu. It all just keeps leading to the robot again giving automated info about my account

I'm in the UK, tried to navigate Mastercard's maze of "press blah", but after settling for "payment dispute" it wanted my card number and then tried to redirect the call to my bank. Anyone have advice on getting through?

I sent emails to all the major payment processors. So far, no response from Mastercard/Visa at all, a bot reply from Paypal, and either a copy/pasted reply from stripe or something that implies a real human at least looked at my complaint.

Further update on stripe's response to my complaint, as I sent another email responding to their initial reply. You may decide for yourself whether it is written by a person or a bot, but at the very least, it is a reply and not complete radio silence.

I would call them, but I struggle really bad with phone stuff, sorry everyone. If you're thinking of emailing them, though, consider calling instead! It will have a much greater impact than the email will.

You might know better than me, but I'd recommend people call in the case of paypal rather than email - especially given you have to be logged in I would be worried about individualized retaliation.

Also, thanks for making this thread - having my income evaporate overnight has me pretty miffed.

The reason I included the UK link instead is you don't have to be logged in + there is an official complaint form - I def recommend submitting there regardless of location

Calling is DEFINITELY more effective, but not everyone has the time/ability

Can you share how you got through? The only thing I can seem to see is the "message us" which gives a "log in" pop up and also is just an AI chat bot and not a complaint submission

The US site just straight up does not have a "Submit a complaint" option. But I submitted through the UK site instead.

Yep! That's why I have the UK site listed. The US site only lets you submit a complaint when logged in via their messaging option. Absolutely terrible

I didn't realize it, but PayPal gives you a lot of pushback when talking about adult content. Visa pretends to listen, but PayPal fights you on complaining about the policy

How can I contact them in the U.S.? If Paypal is run by bigots who refuse to acknowledge and protect LGBTQ minorities, I'd like to take my business elsewhere.

Also, I'd highly recommend alternative forms of payment.
