If you have more info or suggestions, please @ or dm me!

You can also access all this info in a doc:

I truly believe we can help make this right, but ONLY if we work together!

First of, thank you for compiling all this info and sharing! I was wondering if it might be an idea to reach out to YT channels like gameranx and see if they are willing to do a piece on it? They have a broad reach and have been vocally outspoken against similar topics in the past iirc!

Letter writing. Companies add extra weight to letters. Know of at least one company that was 1/10/100: 1 letter = 10 phone calls = 100 emails.

As a final note:

I am NOT saying how itch handled this was right

What I AM saying is that, itch is the most recent in a LONG list of sites restricting NSFW and queer content

And going to the source (payment processors) is more effective + doable than contacting every single company

I'm in the UK, tried to navigate Mastercard's maze of "press blah", but after settling for "payment dispute" it wanted my card number and then tried to redirect the call to my bank. Anyone have advice on getting through?

(Obviously I should have continued through and suggested I might change bank if their payment processor is going to be so out of line, but I wasn't prepared for it.)

We haven't gotten call trees for US yet but will update the site if we get them!!

Generally good bets are:

Spamming 0
Following *any* line that may get to a real person (regardless of reason)
Once you get to a person you can be super polite/confused and go "I think I may have pressed the wrong

The number listed for Denmark doesn’t work and the support chat just refuses to give an alternative lol

Scummy ass business

For the Mastercard US number, I'm unable to access a human representative at all through their menu. It all just keeps leading to the robot again giving automated info about my account

If so pls lmk so I can take it down if it's not working! If not pls try it and lmk if you're able to get through

I just put it under "transaction dispute" as they unfortunately don't have any real options

Just a quick heads up for everyone else here, when I called Visa, the customer service person sounded very tired of this kind of thing and gave me an email address instead. I probably shouldn’t post it here for privacy reasons, but just be prepared to do a little bit more legwork.

The online form + email are both in the doc, however if you call and they try to redirect to email don't let them! Escalate to a supervisor if necessary

Phone calls are a LOT harder to ignore than emails - we WANT them to be tired + annoyed, theyll only listen if we're LOUD

Do not include personal information such as credit card details

Source: literally just called them and they said to go through email

How were you able to find the page where you can file a complaint? I looked it up because the online form is only about donations.

And apparently PayPal's own article about it doesn't exist, and the survey button straight up doesn't work.

A lot of googling! And the complaint form I only found on the UK site - if you're logged into PayPal prior to following the link it'll just redirect you to your country's page unfortunately
