I live in Ohio but my mother came from Alabama. My great-grandfather fought on the side of the Confederacy, but just because I had ancestors that owned slaves and fought to keep them does not mean I believe it’s right. Unfortunately, many white supremacists still do, even in the 21st century.

Great move:that's one disgusting plate. I'd like to see a long overdue law banning their goddamned traitorous flag. I'd argue that allowing it to be flown freely for 150 years has done more to stifle social progress in America than anything else. It's a powerful symbol of hatred, racism and violence

It is a legal minefield: the 1st Amendment protects Freedom of Expression, Freedom of Assembly & Freedom of Speech. Ostensibly, a federal law could be created in which the Confederate flag used in acts of insurrection (e.g. 6/1/ 2021) incriminates via its associations with Fascism.

He literally tried to kill as many people as he could in his City, over an issue that he himself created. He had a small problem related to his sewage, the company next door offered to help him, he refused, demanded they buy his property, they agreed at the price, he increased the price insanely

It's worrying how often I see people on the left idolize Killdozer, Kaczynski and Dormer. The latter 2 is basically entirely based off "I hate techbros" and "I hate cops" taking over their entire logic process, but I can't figure out the Killdozer praise at all.
