I could even take or leave the resolution. I just played Sonic Racing: Crossworlds on my Switch 1 last night and had an absolute blast! It ran just fine.

reminds me of how the source filmmaker pony models have insanely high resolution body textures considering that for 99% of them the bodies are a solid color. all because their cutie marks are embedded in the body texture, instead of being just a separate decal, which sfm is fully capable of handling

People fawning over 4K which is MINIMALLY better than 1440P but uses drastically more resources (GPU power, SSD space, etc) just baffle me too.
They want shit to "Look better" but play worse.

For me personally, using a 4K 240 Hz OLED monitor, I can't really go back to 1440p. The difference in sharpness and desktop space is evident. Please don't bite.

Some of my favorite games were pixel based, and they still hold up. The obsession to make games SUPER REALISTIC 4K GRAPHICS is not understandable to me.

my only problem with baulders gate 3 is that i CAN NOT run it on my laptop, i have to play it on my bfs computer. which im lucky at least i still can play it, but for anyone who doesn't have a beefy boxed computer it'll run like shit.

It's ok to miss out if you still have a PC or a system that still works, up and running. bit of a hot topic, but I would rather watch people play the specific video games on youtube (for FREE) that I CANNOT play instead of spending thousands of dollars-
