NEW: In a prayer vigil for peace, Pope Leo XIV delivered his sharpest condemnation of the Trump-Vance war on Iran to date.

He called the invocation of God to justify war a “delusion of omnipotence” and compared leaders who demand the world bend its knee to “mute, blind, and deaf” idols.

The people of Iran aren’t free. Iran can now charge tolls. The nuclear material sits EXACTLY where it did, in the same amount, since June. The regime is still in place with a younger ayatollah. Iran still was launching missiles, now with more money to rebuild.
