To be clear, if I were to claim the the 16th Amendment had not, in fact, been ratified, I would hope that the response was swift and brutal.

Ummm. No it doesn’t. And love that the article begins with “at least seven law professors . . . “ Seven?

I’m spending my Friday night working on my birthright citizenship paper. Swiftly and viciously. As they say.

“Wurman noted that the professors siding with Trump's executive order have been met with "swift and vicious" reactions.”

Woe is me! Woe is me! Pray for the long-suffering victims of the legal academy who must endure the consequences of their actions.

I am deeply concerned about the fact that Iran is really good at propaganda, they’re antisemitic as fuck, and they’re aiming they’re incredibly good antisemitic propaganda at us at the exact time the American populace is most primed to receive antisemitic messages.

My review of Akhil Amar's "Born Equal" has been published by the Harvard Law Review. It is entitled "Alas," because... alas, I did not like it. Here's the opening:

I am only at three, personally, as I only count @evanbernick.bsky.social and @gowder.io in my individual self-assessed clique.

Notice that they never actually evaluate the pieces they promote. They never—never— critique them. They only tend to count, so they know how many wagons they have to circle.

I’ve been irritated about that dynamic alone from the very beginning. It ain’t a new thing.

One last thing about why Wurman’s insufferable schtick. When @evanbernick.bsky.social, @gowder.io, and I wrote our Cornell piece, the Dunning School warning was about the public perception being altered by malignant actors. That’s continuing to happen. This was identified as a worry from the start.
