Ok @corybooker.com if you’re honest then name them. Have the conviction to name them. Show how to win against the crisis of conviction. Lead by example. If you’re too afraid or unwilling to name them publicly then you are the problem you’re condemning.

I would not require them to agree with me on, like, the specific tax rate for capital gains, but most political things that matter go to a person's central values. Like, I'm not dating someone who disagrees with me about who should or should not have basic human rights.

This is right. And people hate to hear it, but Joe Biden’s single most important task was to Trump-proof the US.

His task was to destroy the Republican Party to punish them for Trump, salt the earth over them, and implement big structural reforms to stop future R minority extremism.
And he failed.
