One thing you can do to support the preservation of history even if you can't visit the Smithsonian or National Historic Site is to learn your local history. They can't hide, erase, or "reconstruct" everything.

I think I'm coming to view LLMs as essentially being the Fae.
The Fae are usually seen as not having souls, and therefore not having consciousness in a way we can recognize;

This facility has been systemically negligent for many years. DC Dept. of Health has plenty of reports of PIW's mistreatment of patients. They don't want to shut it down bc it's the only facility in DC. People continue to be harmed in this environment.

- Box breathing (in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4, repeat)
- Immerse your face in cold water (activates mammalian dive reflex)
- Humming (stimulates vagus nerve)
- Exercise (anything helps, outside even better)

I've helped so many people trying not to cry at the library in the past week. Waves of frustration radiate from so many more. It takes energy to de-escalate them. If another person trauma dumps on me, I may crawl under a rock.
