Very anecdotally here, but I stuck my neck out 18 years ago for someone who had been assaulted (CSA, too), and in the process lost an entire friend group and itās likely why my own father hasnāt spoken to me for that long. And I wasnāt the victim! This is whatās at stake for people to come forward!

The first two paragraphs state that the youngest school kids today werenāt even born or were infants when the pandemic began, yet it claims low test scores in the same cohort are the result of pandemic protocols like not taking infants to museums or having play dates. Please be serious.

There are thousands of miles between us and our adult kids and I always feel some anxiety about chicks not in my nest, but thereās a confluence of events happening this week, this month, that scatters us all even more than usual that gives me extra anxiety about the actions of a madman.

I get to turn 55 today, which is pretty freaking cool. My body doesnāt always (mostly doesnāt) do what I want, Iām still perimenopausal (deal with it), my two late twenties kids are amazing, and my love of nearly 36 years is steadfastly by my side. Birthdays are weird, this one is good.

Two problems with that luxury electric vehicle company is that the base price on anything is $73K and they are hideous(like, seriously ugly.) People are paying that much money for the same basic five grays and seats that look about as luxurious as the cheap seats on Budget Airline?

I am of course curious about space and the universe but I will never be convinced that turning our minds and resources to space is the right thing to do when we are burning the planet we live on. A perennial argument for me, and most everyone always disagrees with me, Iām aware.
