Very anecdotally here, but I stuck my neck out 18 years ago for someone who had been assaulted (CSA, too), and in the process lost an entire friend group and it’s likely why my own father hasn’t spoken to me for that long. And I wasn’t the victim! This is what’s at stake for people to come forward!
