In this month's planning committee agenda, there's a good motion directing the planners to design the Sepulveda G Line station to high standards as a transfer station. (alt 6, the only alt that previously had a design for this station, had a horrible transfer here).

Request for clarification: you mean the Van Nuys, the G Line station which will interchange with the Sepulveda Line, and not Sepulveda, the G Line station, right?

They acknowledge the challenge that the designs are locked for the new G Line station (under construction) and the ESFV station (in preconstruction - they're already putting piles around the storm drain directly under the station, which would have been the ideal place to site Sepulveda's station

But even though the platform itself probably still needs to be sited south of ESFV, there's probably an opportunity to have an underground pedestrian passage with a stair/elevator that exits onto the ESFV platform without hitting the storm drain (i made a diagram of this a bit ago but can't dig it
