If I have one art advice, it's that everybody likes shiny things, but horny people like oily things. If you make things too shiny, they become oily, but if the oily things don't communicate horny enough, it will be off-putting.

Artists, please don't undersell your work, especially when working with big clients.
It not only devalues your own work, but it sets a precedent that will affect the other artists that the client will hire after you.
If you're unsure, please speak with your colleagues, mutuals or do some research. 🙏

I have a bit of a dilemma. I have built the visuals of my game with CRT filters in mind, but video capture has trouble compressing video when the CRT filter is on, presumably there's too much noise for the codec. The file sizes are essentially the same as uncompressed video.
