As an AD I never really paid attention to the price of magic cards on the secondhand market, my job was just to make the best looking cards I could. But it's still pretty surreal to see a card I AD'd selling for $30,000 πŸ™ƒ

Hehehe these were so much fun to work on!

As the Booster Fun Set Lead AD for Secrets of Strixhaven I had the idea to do a series of cards where the art would show students learning about the card title as the subject of a lesson! These turned out SO BEAUTIFULLY!

For anyone who thinks dogs from breeders are healthier, better behaved or safer: Pepper was from a breeder who took him to a shelter when he was too old to breed anymore. He has multiple potentially fatal hereditary health problems that he passed down to dozens of puppies they sold for $1500 per dog

Creative Illustration by Andrew Loomis has a lot of the weird, sexist nonsense you'd expect from a book written in the 40s but it's also a goddamn goldmine for improving your craft. Can't recommend enough.

Four years ago I woke up at 5 am from distant explosions. I asked my boyfriend if he heard them too, he said he didn’t and I should go back to sleep. I tried to calm myself down, went on the internet, it was silent, no news or explanations.
