Up at 2 am and managed to fall back asleep but the 4 am alarm (cat) was persistent that I cuddle with her. Now she’s off somewhere sleeping or being indignant that I wouldn’t give her breakfast early.

But the day did get a little bit better. I was notified by Popeyes that I had expiring reward points and it was enough that I could get a free tenders combo (blackened chicken for the win!) I did have to order something else to get delivery but it was worth it.

Found out I’ve been transferring providers to the wrong number when they need to call back in the queue. Instead of transferring to the IVR, I’ve been transferring them to provider services for the insurance companies. This is only supposed to be done if they’re in a state we don’t cover. Oops. 😬

Having a rotten day so far.

My works calls are long, drawn out, and one person tried to escalate on me. Systems aren’t working.

And, to top it all off, I’m not feeling well. Please send me good vibes and any positive memes, gifs, or pet pics to help my mood.

I have been listening to Kalli scream all night and day. She has opinions.

Why isn’t the other mama here (she’s still in the hospital)?! Why are you not giving me water fast enough?! I am sick of Greenies! Give me Temptations!

She’s now passed out on my roommate’s chair so there is some peace.

Just heard from my roommate. She has been admitted to the hospital and will see a cardiologist tomorrow.

My roommate has just gone to the hospital. She has been having a rapid heartbeat today & the 7th anniversary of her heart attack is coming up. So an ambulance just left. Kalli, of course, thought it was the perfect time to run out the door & interact w/fire & EMT officers.

I’ll keep you posted.

Between her, @brooksba.bsky.social @supportbones.bsky.social and my roommate, I’m feeling blessed and grateful for all of the help and advice. Blessed is not a word I usually use because I’m not religious but that’s the best way to describe my feelings right now.

All I have to say is thank gods for my sister. She is my medical POA & she called the dentist, told him that I was going to seek a second opinion first, & all I have to do is call to cancel the appointments and ask him not to put through the charges until I am ready to move forward.

To say I am stunned is an understatement. But this is what happens when you don’t floss, barely brush your teeth, and don’t go to the dentist will get you.

Well. After meeting w/ the dr, I was told there is so much bone loss that I can either do multiple appts w/ a specialist that would cost over 40k and can’t guarantee that the teeth will be saved or I can get dentures for 14k. I’m going w/ the dentures. All my teeth are going to be pulled on 4/15.

They’re going to do an exam and x-rays and then see if they can just pull it. Otherwise I have to see an oral surgeon. Wish me luck that it will just get the heck out without a huge fuss.

Sitting at the dentist for my first appointment since 2020. Unfortunately, I am losing a lower right molar - it didn’t hurt or anything but about a month ago, I noticed it was just sort of hanging half out of the socket. Figured I would get it extracted.

Remembering a time when I was @ a restaurant w/ @brooksba.bsky.social & there was a guy who was irritating me - I started making fork stabbing gestures w/out realizing it until Beth took it. After that, any time someone would irritate me, I would say “I need a fork” & she would always say no.

New hair! I did go to 3/4 of an inch on the top and stuck to my usual 1/4 inch on the back and sides. Also decided it was time to have my eyebrows cleaned up.

Played an April fool’s joke on myself.

Couldn’t figure out why my timesheet was showing that I had worked 9 hours M, T, & today. I even reached out to my team lead because I was so confused. Turns out that I was entering in 7 am instead of 7:30 am as my start time. Sigh.
