Well. After meeting w/ the dr, I was told there is so much bone loss that I can either do multiple appts w/ a specialist that would cost over 40k and can’t guarantee that the teeth will be saved or I can get dentures for 14k. I’m going w/ the dentures. All my teeth are going to be pulled on 4/15.

To say I am stunned is an understatement. But this is what happens when you don’t floss, barely brush your teeth, and don’t go to the dentist will get you.

Please get a second opinion.
There are many dentists in the Twin Cities that do free second opinion appointments.
Do not make life changing decisions on the advice of a single dentist who will profit from their own recommendation.

That is rough. I think you will eventually like the dentures. I hope they get a good fit and follow all their steps.

I am sorry they will pull all your teeth. That is going to be an adjustment.
