I suppose there is one, slightly less annoying thing to deal with once achieving your goal weight is that you don’t have to eat/exercise on the BURN IT ALL mentality. You get more (not by a HUGE margin) daily allowance of calories or a slightly less exercise workload to stay at the maintenance level

Yeah, staying in a deficit is ill advised if the goal is maintenance, u dont want to lower ur metabolic rate 😭

It’ll still require you put in effort but it’s not as strict with calculating daily calories for every single freaking meal choice so long as you stay living as relatively the same way as you were during the loss. Weight will wiggle a bit back and forth as is to be expected but should stay healthy

Weightloss isnt and SHOULDNT be about getting thin, its about feeling like becoming your best self as you age, you arent doing your body any favors by only eating trash and sitting still all day everyday

And complete disclaimer this is for people who WANT to make a change!! I dont believe in trying to force or shame people into being more healthy
This is a personal choice only!! Do some research and make your own decision on whether you think its best for you ❤️

Fr we have several older patients that grew up with the Need for Lean lifestyle so much that they end up deathly underweight and malnourished because a lot of folks lose appetite with age. One patient I knew had chronic and MAJORLY BAD lower extremity swelling due to how bad her hypoproteinemia was.
