Eveythjng that could have gone wrong went wrong. My kitchen scale ended up breaking during the move but I didn’t notice it was acting finnicky until I measured five ingredients wrong.

I nearly mixed up a rancid!! stick of butter that I bought yesterday!!!

May…have cried a little about this.

paint on materials like brick or concrete is just...a bad match, it locks in moisture and the paint/face comes off in chunks.

Impermanence may be the point but it bothers me when the materials battle each other. And then when things are retouched it’s a clear difference in quality

I find characters that act without any self awareness or thought for others infuriating and often stop watching/reading. I think there’s an extreme to this that is incredibly grating. Especially when all the characters do it.

I will say I feel like I’ve wasted a lot of gelly lives by not using this kneadable eraser trick. 😟

So far the aristro pens work the way sharpie paint pens ought to work. And the Signo work like the gelly should lol

But I need to start a new drawing to put them to the test.

Also pictured is a gelly roll stuffed with a kneadable eraser to provide more pressure for the ink! Just tested and it’s helping! 🤯

I’d LOVE a solid gel pen for an absolute white. One that doesn’t cut through its own pigment or go dry after half a painting

I’ve adapted to using a white charcoal pencil and hard white wax pastel.

The pastel gives off a blue grey tinge when mixed on the page which isn’t ideal but it can cut through a lot where the charcoal can’t.
