there are so many consequences of everyday people not really understanding how journalism works and people on here thinking there was some sort of massive media coverup of Eric Swalwell being a monster fundamentally is rooted in total misunderstanding of what real reporting requires.

Born #onthisday in 1722, the English poet Christopher Smart (AKA Mrs Mary Midnight / Ebenezer Pentweazle). A well known figure in 18th-century London, he is best known today for considering his cat Jeoffry in his epic poem Jubilate Agno: publicdomainreview.org/essay/christopher-smarts-jubilate-agno #OTD

You’re right.

That might not be enough time to bury the Statue of Liberty and distribute 400 million ape costumes.

50le Caufield!

(Somebody had to say it.)

(Check out Pierre Houde's call in French, though, if you can; excellent stuff.)

People in comics & the British fantasy scene! If you were around in the 80s-90s & are willing to speak on or off the record about Gaiman, please DM me or reach out on email. I will put you in touch with someone working on a longform piece. They are wondering why no one, so far, is willing to talk.

To be clear, I have never hunted human beings for sport, nor for meat. Especially not for meat. I will not be taking any further questions at this time.

IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE (Anagrammed Lines)

It came from outer space —
a comet of imp creatures;
a curse of meteor impact —
to permute a cosmic fear,
to cap our mesmeric fate...

As Brits, I feel like we know what the end of power looks and feels like

Except that the US has done 60-80 years of decline in under a decade

Absolutely extraordinary how a movement designed to Make America Great Again has eviscerated American 'greatness' in just months

"We handed an insane Nazi pedophile with senile dementia the nuclear football" is a fact few had dared to look in the face until today, and despite the fact that it was all a disgusting farce, I'm glad it's a conversation we're having. We are a nuclear armed fascist state. We have to reckon with it.
