Paid almost $30 for like two burgers and fries yesterday. Just normal fast food burgers (in a "cheap" state). That's 4x the federal hourly minimum wage, fyi. And don't even get me started on the price of gas. Failed state. Dumpster fire of an economy held up by debt and looting other countries.

4 cheeseburgers, two large fries, and two drinks for under $20 in southern FL. Seems quite reasonable.

It cost me $28 last week to buy my grandkids a Chicken Strips meal and two Blizzards (not even the largest size) at our local #DairyQueen

I was appalled.

I paid $20 at Chipotle last week for a burrito and drink. I get that it is supposed to be upscale "fast" food but that is absurd.

They are not going to stop these escalation until they start another world war.
These guys are trying to conquer the world and they are doing it be dismantling all of the world's democracies.
Late stage capitalism is turning the world into a corporatocracy.

We haven't been to a fast food restaurant for awhile. We simply can get better burgers in a sit down restaurant for about the same price. If I want to spend $30 on a meal, I'd rather it be a good one.

What I don't understand is every house that comes on the market below $300k sells in 48 hours or less

This is in the Midwest

its not BlackRock either
It's people
Most turn them into rentals

Exactly, the “fast food” market is a thing of the past in my mind. Once, it was about convenience at a reasonable cost. Now, it’s about lining the pockets of franchise owners. No thanks

But, $15 for a fast food lunch is not surprising. I try to go to restaurants who sell healthy food that can be split into 2 meals. Next, I'll be eating Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice meals for lunch. They are much cheaper.

Here in the UK for lunch yesterday: 2 packets of crisps (chips to you, probably), 2 coffees and 2 cakes, just in a local garden centre, not somewhere posh, £26.80 (that's about $36 to you.)

Same here. $31..2 hot dogs, 1 small fries, 2 regular soft drinks---Five Guys🤯 2 days ago.
I could go to Sam's club & get a drink & a hot dog for around $2!

You could go to a Maverik gas station, if you have those, and get a hotdog and a refill for $6.77, but that's the 😮. Since when has a gas station hotdog and a refill been $6.77? bsky.app/profile/imthatholly.bsky.social/post/3mgqibrjs4s22

The wealth of our country has been stolen by the billionaires’ corporations and child-raping oligarchs. They are the enemies of all of us. The sooner the American people wake up, grab their pitchforks and put these MFers in prison, the better.

Anyone who doesn’t raise and butcher their own meat is lazy. Same with the clowns who don’t take the time to mill their own flour for the buns. I occasionally buy tomatoes or mustard seeds to make my condiments, but only during winter.

We haven't had "fast food" in months. Way to expensive. If we want to pay that price, we go to a sit down non-fast food restaurant. Even then that's limited!

We were in Boston 6 months ago for our first time in the USA. We were startled by the high cost of food. Most were served in malls and the food was poor.
If one wanted an actual restaurant, the ambience and service were excellent, but by golly, the prices! And then the service charges... 🙄😯

I know In n Out is massively popular but Lynsi Snyder, the CEO, is a Republican donor and Trump supporter, their burgers come wrapped in a Bible verse, their fries are terrible and the burgers are mediocre at best. A step up from McDonald's, for sure.

I’ve been hearing an ad on the radio promoting moving to OH. They brag about being able to own a home in your 30s. Imagine that being such a huge goal. My parents bought a home built for them in their 20s, and we weren’t rich. Oh, and my mom worked part time.

Ever since that Mickey D's let Trump play like he was working, I have refused to set foot in a McDonald's. I know about independent franchisees but I don't care. If its the Golden Arches I'm not giving them a single penny. They helped get this asshole elected so I won't give them money anymore.
