$12 to fill up my 4.5 gal gas can to cut the grass. Sure it will last 3 cuts but.... Are we winning yet?

I'm thinking about cutting the grass less often and letting it grow higher this summer. Also letting grassy areas grow wild that aren't visible from the street.

I heard the higher ethanol gas they're pushing is harder on mower's' engines but I'm not sure if it's true.

I'm with you. I'm doing the "curb appeal part". Lawns are just so an American thing. Working on a condo.
