I have never played with TVs except for going with dad to test tubes some 50 years ago, good times. Is that a Dekatron channel indicator and a magic eye for tuning signal?

The early Dumont sets used a Mallory Inductuner and a 6AL7 tuning eye. I'm sure it's more of a gimmick but they used to advertise you can adjust it easier visually than by ear. There is one fixed bar and the other varies size depending on signal strength. When their matched you should be on signal
