@thetubeguy.bsky.social got one of the bell 2122A's restored. What a joke whoever did previous repairs... The schematic also messed up getting the tone controls labeled backwards. Had study the circuit a bit.

I worked on one of these 4 or 5 years ago and gave up. Old house, small work area bad lighting. I actually ran both of these when I first got them and they sounded good. Then I looked underneath and saw the worst recapping job ever..

@thetubeguy.bsky.social I put in two Psvane 5u4gs into my Dumont. They look stunning. I'll see if I can get a picture of them while it's running. I had a shorted CRT and had to use my tester to blow the short out. I finally can dim the picture!
