It's funny because I full agree with this but it feels like the same forces in reverse in comics. You get neat development and cool new characters and stories until they replace the lead writer, and they invariably go "fuck all this what if Hal Jordan met Abin Sur and then had to fight Sinestro."

I've joked with some folks before that the implosion of the Neopets RPG is their chance to step up and take a shot at it, but it seems like there really IS an opening now since John Taylor of Geekify has been sent to whatever the Neopets equivalent of the Phantom Zone is

DBZ RPG used Fuzion and not tri-stat, I should have remembered it as the game where my bonus character was Hot Noodles

We did cover BESM but like so long ago that I have genuinely no recollection of that. It's me Jef though so that could honestly be yesterday.
