I think this skit should be deemed historically important. It captures something significant.

Yeah. That those people who were intentionally rude about their support now want us to forget that and just let them be internally shamed. Nope.

This! Where she demands grace from her kids, nope. People like her should be marched naked down Pennsylvania Ave while Hannah Waddingham clangs a bell at them shouting SHAME, SHAME, SHAME. IYKYK

I agree with the importance. Next, they should do a church version where the pastor has to help his congregation come to terms with the fact they were misled.

seems unlikely. if a pastor admits that he got something wrong in a sermon, people will start doubting the entire house of cards.

It's not a guarantee that this nightmare will end.
Remember, the current regime may have the staying power as the bolsheviks, who were in power for 70 years

Some comedy blows me away. George Carlin for example, so on point with the underlying current of society.

Lenny Bruce was as well until he lost it and obsessively raged on stage absent any humor.

Just watched it.
There’s a strong core of truth beneath the comedy.

Almost. That Black Jeopardy skit was utterly brilliant. (Think that Michael Che wrote it.)

Whoever wrote this was a genius. I’m sure this will be remembered historically. There’s another one from Trump’s 1st presidency, a Thanksgiving one, that hits the nail on the head almost as good as this one does.

I can no longer laugh at things like this. We are here because of these indoctrinated, hateful human beings. Grace requires "remorse followed by silence, space & changed behavior."

Overlooked is the Dad, who was completely checked out and could care less about the entire situation.

Unfortunately, this was also an accurate depiction.
