Most of you know by now that Hounds is in significant part a project to instrumentalize my poetry. One of the poetry collections of mine I assumed was un-adaptable was GOLDEN AGE (2016). But I’m trying to do so with LITTLE MUTINIES. Here’s the third preview track from that forthcoming album:

(🚨) BREAKING: Vance Lied to World; In Fact, Trump White House Saw, Gave Input On and Edited Pakistani Ceasefire Document Pre-Publication—and It Clearly Included a Ceasefire in Lebanon

This confirms Netanyahu told Trump to fuck himself and Trump assented. The mystery over what he has on Trump grows.

I like that music video so much because of how relatable it is

At least eight of my friends were pulled into parallel hand-drawn dimensions in the 1980s

Why was I not informed of this gag

Everyone had years and years to tell me my favorite music video was spoofed on Family Guy and they did *nothing*

If this Trump-Iran peace negotiation is anything like the last three—dating back to 2020—US bombs will start falling halfway through, so like in a few hours

I’m amazed that Iran is even willing to entertain negotiations with such obvious (to borrow a Roger Stone term) ratfuckers

What I suspect is that Pete Hegseth only surrounds himself with the sort of people who’d be stupid enough to respect him: i) manosphere turds, ii) young unmarried women fresh out of college with no life experience and an education (like Riley had at her religious school, Liberty) that says OBEY MEN.

I give no rhetorical quarter to the man who led the attack on DEI when a) HE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS and b) he’s hiring kids to do key government work in wartime.

Fun fact: I briefly had the same job as Riley in a town of 20,000. And I’d *never* think that would qualify me for her current job.

Think I'm being unfair?

Less than six months before she became ASSISTANT PRESS SECRETARY TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF WAR in the middle of a massive regional military conflict in Iran—the First Iran War—Riley was working as an Assistant Town Manager in a tiny Texas town of just 5,000 people.

Why would someone so young destroy her credibility so eagerly?

25 year-old Riley Podleski had been in DC all of FIVE MONTHS when sex pest/alcoholic Pete Hegseth made her Assistant Press Secretary for the U.S. Department of War.

Why? Because he only hires the best...unqualified young white blondes.

Why does every Trump aide look like he has three failed manosphere podcasts on his CV

I know you were all expecting the top Donald Trump aide (James Blair) who was just moved by the Orange One from the White House to his political operation to be another cartoonishly evil-looking ghoul but LOL, the joke’s on you he looks completely normal and not malevolent at all

If what the alleged victim says is true, she suffered a horrible ordeal she can find redress for in legal process and the fact that Swalwell is politically dead. We must broadly condemn sex crimes even if particular cases aren't adjudicated yet. And if guilt is found? Punishment.

Politics is stupid, corrupt, unfair, venal, cynical, fake. These days mostly bad folks are in it. Might we one day learn that Swalwell was falsely accused? Sure—but anyone who goes into politics implicitly agrees in advance to be victimized by its frequent lack of reasonableness.

So I'm not going to give prizes today to politicians of any party covering their asses by running from Swalwell; that's politicians being politicians.

Nor will I hear a word from MAGA scum on *any* of this.

But Democrats *must* protect themselves from a now-nonviable candidate.

Now here's where I may lose some people: family aside, I believe everyone should immediately excise from their lives anyone who's unable to take a clear stand on serial offenders with an M.O.—be it Trump, Cosby, Michael Jackson or Jeffrey Epstein. Moral cowardice is contemptible.

And that's a key distinction between he-said/she-said cases and what—say—we saw with Trump or Cosby.

Bystanders made up their minds about the latter cases because *dozens of identical allegations* established an M.O. and made a broad false positive statistically near-impossible.

Who we believe is legally immaterial; it's posturing. We don't have all the facts. I'd say the same of any politician posturing morally now; don't confuse your cynical politics with morality.

But yes—Trump should have exited the race when he faced his *67* different allegations.

That is, it's possible to think in terms of three distinct spheres—legal, political, moral—at once. Legally, there's nothing to say till all this is resolved in court. Politically, we know that, true or false, allegations affect who's viable. Morally, MAGAs are hypocritical scum.

As to the Swalwell report:

1. The truth should be worked out via legal process.
2. Dems can't have anyone facing such allegations as a candidate.
3. MAGAs wouldn't care about this; that's immaterial.
4. Politics is informing how some folks are responding; that's also immaterial.

If you wonder why Trump exhibits such fealty to Israel, consider that at the beginning of his second term he agreed to use the most invasive Israeli spyware ever devised to start spying on people in the United States.

He'll need this tech for martial law.

I will give Democratic leadership credit for this much: they really do leave no stone unturned when it comes to searching for ways to do something other than their jobs

Keep in mind that 48 hours ago he said there’d be no ceasefire *or* negotiations until the Strait was completely and totally open

This man is such a liar and a coward—so craven and pathetic—that it’s amazing any MAGA *ever* saw him what they deem an “alpha”

It's even more infuriating when it is done with executive orders, such as claiming that "Trump issues second executive order on elections, giving US Postal Service unprecedented control over mail voting"---they need to put PURPORTEDLY before "giving" or something like that

Threads in particular has been having this weird thing happen in which people who claim to be from one of the successful U.S. states make false claims about their safety, food scene, or culture. I mean like obviously false claims. It feels like a scam to turn blue states purple.

All across corporate media—and for that matter social media—we increasingly find benighted attempts to laud the crappy states folks are moving to and lie about the great states they’re leaving. Fourth-grade reading in one failed state becoming “among the best” is a one-off curio.

I am SO F*CKING SICK of how bad corporate media has become, particularly with headlines and sub-headlines in no way supported by the content that follows

Lebanon has a population half that of London.

The Israelis have caused *8,000 casualties* in Lebanon since the start of last month.

20%+ of civilians have had to flee their homes.

The IDF is doing al Qaeda-style follow-up strikes that are killing and maiming first responders.
