I fully support people's right to protest but I don't support far right bullshit pretending to be about farmers and hauliers and I can't recall another protest ever being allowed to bring the city to a halt for 36 hours and still going without any consequences whatsoever

I just donโ€™t get it. I spent most of the day today doing work on the farm , trying to get a damn stubborn calf to drink from a bucket . I donโ€™t get how these โ€˜farmersโ€™ have the time to clog up half the country .

I feel like we're conflating "farm owners" and "farmers" right? Like if they did any actual farming they wouldn't be on a jaunt up to Dublin. Farmers famously don't take days off.

Had 3 and a half hours added to my commute to Dublin office today. Got to Tara street this morning, just needed to cross over to Custom house qauy and couldnt. Had to retrace my steps, find safe parking and get dart back in. On way home the m11 was blocked between loughlinstown and the shankill.

Got chatting to a bus inspector at Hawkins Street. They were getting one or two buses through, then a group of lads would move to their junction and block the next buses. Its all a joke to them
