I love toons. I should be the target audience for this wave of indie toons. Or half of the 2010's CN shows before them. Even the ones I really liked have kind of soured in my mind and I'm honestly afraid to touch Monkey Wrench or whatever. Happy everyone's having fun but these shows fall flat for me

Enjoyed a programme of felt and embroidered animations while needleworkers around me were knitting away with motivation, though they could not keep their eyes off of Soft Plants and its adorable felt fat men and sheep. Favourite was The Island of Us, a wonderful treatise on the cruel circle of life.

Notice that they have KPop Demon Hunters stuff set up here mostly instead of the Imageworks-animated film Netflix did actually produce and thought would be their triumph. I guess it's to flaunt Netflix's association with the Vancouver animation industry's breakthrough but it still looks out of place
