They kept using "Fortunate Son" as walk-on music for Trump. A song which doesn't exactly celebrate cosseted silver-spoon dipshit nepo babies, but does mention "red, white and blue" and "hail to the chief" so it must be about a cool president guy, right?

At least 1/3rd of my favorite music either has no lyrics, or lyrics only in Japanese. Racists really are boring and miserable.

I'm the opposite of MAGA, I have never listened to music in any other language than English (only language I know), so don't dump us all in the same category.

What was Korn?
Grunge Metal?? Nu Metal?

They were an American band and we all learned how to speak Korn to sing along to the lyrics. Cuz we weren't lame asses lol

Opera mostly in Italian, French & German (other languages too) performed for 200 years in the USA and there are 125 Opera houses in the US

No problem

Seriously. Blindly recite the lyrics from Paranoid and Master of Puppets, even English is rough

I would like to add the Cocteau Twins to the list. Granted they're Scottish & Elizabeth Fraser sometimes sings fully in English but a lot of there discography is her singing using glossolalia which isn't even a language. Also, if you like anime a lot of the most beloved theme songs are in Japanese.

I can imagine that the couple who got married during that performance (And that was a legitimate wedding by the way.), never fathomed having an audience of 70,000+ for their special day.

These apps were used to recruit victims for Epstein’s Island. Shut them all down in the US until further notice

Alien Weaponry has been mentioned, I'm a bit disappointed of no *direct* Korpiklaani refs, I see Mongolian metal is well represented

I offer going a bit old-school in Sepultura's "Ratamahatta", mixing English and Brazilian Portugese with bonus Coffin Joe refs :D www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeWICOwGkkU

Yup! Couldn't actually tell you many of my favorite American grindcore bands' lyrics.
My favorite locals told everyone what songs were about (funny btwn song banter), but they were actually only grunts & squeals.

One of my favourite songs is Dos Oruguitas from Encanto, do I understand a word? No. Do I understand the entire song? Yes I do.

Actually most Nordic metal bands sing in English. There are many great heavy rock and metal bands from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. I would be happy to provide Trump with a list, but I doubt if they would have anything to do with him.

It takes me a lot of focused listening to understand what the lyrics are in most songs sung in English, FWIW.

This is one of my favorite songs in the world, from an English-speaking English band, and without a lyric sheet, I have no idea what they’re hollering about. The voice is just another instrument m.youtube.com/watch?v=F5nGo7yUtlE

Hell, if you can understand the lyrics in the standard release from any Metal Blade artist without a lyrics sheet, you’re doing too much gas station speed.
