Normcore troubadour. He/him. Vocals/keyboards for Silver Alert. Solo singer/songwriter on the Internets.

Old man sings at cloud.

I deeply resent the current regime has me writing protest songs. It’s pretty good though, imo. You should watch the video and do the YouTube interactions (like/comment etc.). First song I’ve written on the baritone ukulele rather than the piano.

And yes I’m being flippant but I am coming to view the us constitution as maybe fine for a high trust home game groups who are all friends, but isn’t good for con games and definitely not organized play.

Real question: has NASA been able to ameliorate the smell issue with the Artemis capsule? Apparently the Apollo capsules got so rank the divers who opened the hatch would gag

The plan to demonize creativity, the arts and entrepreneurship while simultaneously shoving AI products down our throats that seemingly make 99% of things worse isn't going to work. We need the robots do the laundry while the people make stuff robots can't dream of. That's a good future.

Taking out the trash in the replies but for those I've yet to block:

"Isn't the timing convenient?" that's what happens when you realize you're going to have to come forward NOW or the villain of your story will have even more power and it's now or never.

Writers need to be more sparing with their usage of “future in the past” tense, e.g. “John left for the front; he would not return until five years later.” One such sentence can be useful, but if you end up writing most of your chronology that way it’s just awkward reading.

Bloody hell. Researchers invented a disease, published two fake papers to see if LLM’s would ingest them and kick them up as fact — and then it broke containment and all the major AI’s bought in. Information pollution.

At least liberal Zionism seems to have stopped its piteous insistence that “Expansionism makes Israel less safe.” It has made Israel larger, more powerful and richer. It’s Israel’s *neighbors* who are ever less safe. “Less safe” was a way to duck the moral question. Source: was a liberal Zionist.

The belief Israeli militarism is Bibi’s one-man show is where liberal Zionism has gone to die. Netanyahu, like Trump, is a repulsive individual. But he’s the head of a durable Revisionist coalition government whose opposition broadly supports the same approach.

Two weeks. Now we will find out if the Republican Party leadership is willing to force us to have our cortisol levels jerked up and down every few days to a couple weeks. I suspect they’re fine with it. Remember.

We’re doomed because Trump represents a sick, evil, but absolutely permanent and strong element of American culture. Killing civilizations is what these people voted for.

God help me this sounds like nukes. The “TACO” jibe is overdone and even counterproductive at some point. Trump has done many baleful, consequential things. By repeating and intensifying his Sunday threats, this reads like a man trying to leave himself no way to back out.

I was going to suggest that Stephen Miller had gotten hold of The Furherphone while the Mango Mussolini was in a coma and that was the best he could manage to imitate DJT's texting voice. But the post about Fox News was as distinctive as a fingerprint; DJT is definitely still running the account.

NASA isn't why the US doesn't have universal healthcare, or a social safety net. The US doesn't have those things because politicians with the power to provide them choose specifically not to (with varying levels of support from voters). Enthusiasm for human spaceflight doesn't drive that choice.
