I donโ€™t know if this is the same thing, but I read a fascinating book about the origin of the Indo-European languages a couple years ago that traces them back in a way that emphasizes their origin from a rapacious and expansionist polity.

Aggressiveness may play a role via genes but Iโ€™d be careful to make generalisations. The variance within a population is far greater than we often presume.

And there are limiters. Not all leave for another place, warring or fleeing.

Iโ€™d focus on those who seek and gain power, they make an impact.
