As many have written about, robots and AI have been allegories for slave labor in SF starting with R.U.R. Since then, the liberal impulse in SF has been to recognize the humanity and sentience of AI. It strikes me that this discourse is uniquely unfit for describing how so-called "AI" exists today.

Not only are prologues and epilogues not necessary to read, you can skip the entire book and simply read the back cover blurb. Further, if you’re really pressed for time you can digest an entire book simply from looking at the title. I get through hundreds of books a day that way.

Das ehemalige Kinderkrankenhaus Rothenburgsort in Hamburg. Hier wurde zwischen 1940-1945 mind 126 Kinder im Zuge der NS „Euthanasie“ ermordet. Alle Ärzt:innen kamen frei & machten danach teilweise Karriere. Sehr bedrückend hier zu stehen.

Diese Female Rage Leseliste mit 58 Titeln ist von 2018, alle Ressourcen zur Weiterbildung stehen seit Jahren bereit. Es gibt auch viele gute Titel auch auf deutsch.

Ich bin grundsätzlich nicht mehr gewillt mit Männern zu diskutieren, die nicht mindestens zehn Bücher zum Thema gelesen haben.

One thing I'd really like feminism to reckon with is the treatment of neurodivergent women. We are often excluded from the (supposed) inherent solidarity of all women.

And get treated like children for missing or ignoring social rules. (Often ones that are harmful to women).

Es ist mehr als nur Toleranz und geht in Richtung Bewunderung (toll, die stellen sich über das Gesetz). Gleichzeitig wird bei anderen der Rechtsbruch zum kulturellen Makel hochstilisiert und mit der Herkunft aus "unzivilisierten" Ländern erklärt. Unser Wert: von der Mehrheit unterstützte Heuchelei.

Am Schlimmsten von allen „Unschuldsvermutung“-Dudes finde ich ja die, die so väterlich und von oben herab postulieren, man solle jetzt mal nicht so durchdrehen und mal lieber ganz in Ruhe abwarten. Als würde allein die Tatsache, dass das Thema sie emotional nicht berührt, ihnen Recht geben.

Es gibt verschiedene Situationen, in denen Frauen besonders gefährdet sind, Opfer von Partnerschaftsgewalt zu werden. Eine ist, wenn sie erfolgreicher als ihre Männer werden.

Leider erwartbar und trotzdem schockiert es mich, wieviel Hass Collien Fernandes in diesen Tagen entgegenschlägt. Von den Verschwörungsanhängern, den Frauenhassern, den üblichen Verdächtigen, die "Zensur" brüllen, wenn es darum geht, Gewalt zu begrenzen. Es ist für eine Person nicht bewältigbar.

Ich spüre in der Musik- und Filmbranche von einer Seite einen gewissen nervösen Unmut darüber, dass Frauen jetzt ständig die Pappen aufmachen und nicht mehr dulden, was quasi bis vorgestern alles noch okay war und Usus und ich muss sagen, das gefällt mir sehr.
