A drivers license needs to consist of fixed, objective, current, verifiable facts. If height is included it needs to be accurate, not a made up number. If it includes sex it needs to be biological sex. Gender ID is subjective, unverifiable and may be subject to change.

I wasn't born nearsighted, but currently my license says I need corrective lenses. My height has changed. My weight has changed. Eye color varies with ambient light and what shirt I wear. I doubt there's a tic box for my current hair colors.

Except as ID they don't actually care what sex you are - they care about gender because it's relevant for identification (how you present and therefore how they can recognize you). If they need sex, DNA is less ambiguous and more directly relevant to criminal charges.

Actually, it contains self-reported data reflecting how you understand yourself. I rounded my height up to the nearest whole inch, though I am 1/2" shorter than that. No one cares if you shave off a few pounds when you say what you weigh; if you gain 30, no one makes you get a new license. 🤷‍♀️

What dmv are you going to that they weigh and measure you? Cuz where I'm from you tell them a number, they shrug their shoulders and go "eh ok" and that's that. If I fill out on my form that I'm 6'5 and 450#, that's what it says regardless of my clearly 5'4 150# frame. Your Id is to identify you.
