This book is riveting and so, so infuriating. It follows 5 families in Atlanta who are struggling to remain housed and paints deeply compassionate portraits of each unit. It reads almost like a novel but is outstanding journalism

The proposed sale of public land & decimation of our national parks makes me sick. Our national parks are a treasure. It has been my goal to visit all the national parks in retirement. Now, I wonder if there will be National Parks, Public Monuments, & public lands to visit at all, anymore!

They estimate this operation has cost the U.S. over $16M which is low because it doesn't count the photo op flights in and out by Kristi Noem and Pete Hegseth. They built 1600 tents that ICE can't use because they are inhumane.
