I know this is a joke but like, Polish does have multiple words for job. Praca, robota, zawod etc depending on context.

it's less formal, closer to English term "work" rather than "job". It is often used interchangeably with "praca" which is closer to "job". I believe "robota" originates from the proto-slavic word "orbota" which means labour. This is actually where the modern term "robot" comes from.
