On Thursday only Greens can beat Reform in Gorton and Denton. And we will beat their hate with a message of hope.

On Thursday help us make hope normal again.

This feels like a turning point, even if Green don’t take the seat, this momentum will keep going.

Whilst I have zero optimism for that region of the country , people are so easy to manipulate by literal pedos and friends of felons . And impressed by terrible acts of so called “free world leader” - part of me still hopes you’ll win this and madness will be stomped out in the uk .

I really hope you’ll win, being a Green Party member myself. However, it seems very easy to put voters off. When canvassing, please close doors behind you.

It's you chance to shine!
Also, for Labour/LibDem voters, give Greens a chance to screw up in a single seat!

I’ll be voting for Hannah 💚

The incumbent party almost always does badly in by-elections.

Even if you are not normally a Green voter, a tactical vote, to stop Reform's crowing like a preening cockerel, makes sense.

The first sensible admission I've seen, that thats all voting green is, an anti vote

Leicester shows it can be done, reform blow out, labour loss, green gain. Call the existential blue roses, I dare you.

Horribly low turnout, but not that unusual for local elections. Nonetheless, a phenomenal result for The Greens.

Question. Would the Green party have won under proportion representation?

keir starmer hasn't shown his face in the constituency, 30p Lee went canvassing in the wrong constituency... clearly only one party leader is showing leadership in Gorton and Denton

#votegreen and vote for hannah

If the world wasn't on fire I'm pretty sure he'd find the time but yeah lets give the PM pelters for not canvassing.

Farage doesn't even show his face in his own constituency.

We are right, they are wrong.

They should compromise but we shouldn't because we are right

We are good, they should be eliminated

We are the good people

Elections are won by turnout — if you want change, showing up matters. A positive message can be powerful, but it only counts if supporters actually cast their ballots. Hope needs votes to become reality.

Maybe telling the truth would appeal to voters.
You should try it.

The Gorton and Denton by-election feels like a choice between a parachuted-in academic and someone rooted in the community. One brings commentary and theory. The other fixes things, knows local streets, and lives the reality. Voters, you need to decide which experience matters most!

It would work either way, despite the Green spin. But Starmer is so unpopular, the tactical voting would favour the Greens. It underscores why Starmer has to go. In a delicate balance of voter decision making, his continued presence is a decisive factor.

It’s a clear, focused appeal — but voters will want more than slogans. If Greens are the main challengers there, the case is strongest when it’s about local priorities, competence and delivery — not just framing it as hope vs hate.

That isn't true Zack and no amount of love bombing will make unicorns into real world policies. Populism is empty rhetoric and those with real hope don't believe in fairyland .

Oooh I dunno pet, a bit of love bombing sounds rather nice to me 🤗. It’s made for a very good manifesto afterall.

Are you saying that the tactical vote sites are lying or that the Green Party are lying about what they say.

This makes no sense. You’d rather Reform and its hollow promises?

We’re done with unicorns: Brexit being the great mother of them all.
Simplistic policies for complex problems. Sound great but add layers of failure on more failure.

Who will look after Hannah Spencer's dogs if she wins the seat? Not sure she'll have much time for walking them.

From what I can tell, probably her very nice partner. Plus I’m sure there will be no shortage of neighbours and friends who’ll take those gorgeous soppy greyhounds out for walks, for the four days she’s down in Westminster.

Zack help the Green Party by exposing how the Labour government have been disingenuous on lifting the onshore wind ban! Why don’t you tell the government to cap EIA costs at £5k to create a level playing field to allow members of the public to apply for planning for renewable energy? Stops corporate

Like a chain letter, if a constituent passed a message to two neighbours asking them to keep Reform out and vote "Hope not Hate" (Green), and at the same time asking them to each contact two others, then within a few hours almost everyone in Gorton and Denton would have that message.

Gorton & Denton Greens, bring on board the apathetic/undecided/unmotivated this week 💪. Too many people make excuses to not vote. During the next 4 days, give them a reason to vote.

However the dice rolls on Thursday, the Green Party have already done well out of this by-election. ✊💚

Wow, this Thursday? Good luck, Hannah. A win here is a message to the nation that The Green Party can take on Reform in a high stakes election. Everyone needs to use their vote to keep Reform out. EVERYONE! Reform's supporters are enrapted by the snake oil sales pitch & will turn out in high numbers
