M'Lady B spent 0.96 sheds at the garden centre, and that's cool.

But I want to spend 1.36 sheds on new optics to replace the optics I've had since 1997, and we need to talk bout that?

Why the sudden need to see clearly? Can't you just polish the ones you have? Like a Viking warrior would? After bathing in milk and honey?

If the optics came from a garden centre that might swing it, it's just a question of receipts as decent optics don't come from garden centres as I'm sure you are aware of.

Depends on the garden centre. If it's one with a lifestyle wing like the 1851 Crystal Palace Exhibition, you might. If it's a row of polytunnels staffed by hobbits (probably), you won't.

Due to climate change all the birds are further away, hence the need for new optics. #helping

I told you, you’d go blind.

But garden centre purchases are essential, optics perhaps not so much.

Optics are unnecessary.

What a pity I got rid of the optics that were left behind by the previous owners when I moved into my house.

It was such a delight that they'd left the sticky gunge on them too....

I've deleted bluesky from everything but this phone, so I think we're safe.
