He’s out of his mind, a narcissistic megalomaniac in an all-consuming spiral of self-pity and selfishness, but the truly insane people are the thousands of powerful men around him who won’t say so and continue to dance around him like this is normal, rational behavior.

My long experience concerning the clinically insane is that they can at times seem very rational. That is the truth. However, when they are provoked, they become exceedingly dangerous. Not only to themselves, but to others. That causes me grave concern if that person is paranoid AND narcissistic.

"Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China."

Uh, WHAT THE FUCK do you think NATO is for, you barking mad dipshit! Well, hopefully Europe has learn from it's own appeasement of, followed by betrayal from Trump, and Trump backing down after Minnesota's resistance, and act accordingly...

This is insanity and those (looking at you MAGA in Congress) who can do something about it, won't.

Someone I supported with NPD lost a local competition. I wrote up my support planning advice to their residential caretakers about what to expect following this disappointment and how to best mitigate it. My advice wasn't followed and the person ended up smashing their apartment to bits...

I try not to dwell on how utterly predictable Trump is once you are aware of one basic fact about him, but there are times my professional experience and current events just wash over me like waves.

Only thing I’d add to this is “staring down his mortality”.

The only way the world can be safe in the near term if is Trump is gone from office - because he’s overthrown through some mechanism or because he’s dead. He is a deranged madmen unfit along every imaginable dimension and he is surrounded by evil criminals who exploit him for malignant purposes.

Trump is not in charge. It’s a regency.

Vance is sticking back so that he, and the other admin, can use Trump as a scapegoat.

“The president wanted it,” they say and shrug like they were only following directions.

Naw, they are all in on it and they are all grasping for control.

For longer term safety we need Americans to stop being the kind of people that would elect such a madman, and elect senators and congresspeople that are unable or unwilling to stop him.

It needs to be the first rather than the second thing, because JD will be an even worse puppet for Stephen Miller et al to steer.

He will without any exaggeration destroy America, reduce this country to a lawless mafia state, start a civil war, start a world war, kill us all, or all at once.

And the biggest obstacle to preventing this remains not his objective strength but that OUR LEADERS WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE THREAT.

And the only reason he wants the Nobel is because Obama got it! He has become deranged in an insane pursuit to prove anything Obama did he can do too. Healthcare, economy, second term, the Nobel, this is his psyche screaming “Barack HUSSEIN Obama ISN’T better than me!!!”

The reality is power seems to attract a specific class of deeply mentally unwell quisling for whom there is no floor on the depravity and insanity theyll tolerate to remain in proximity. Like addicts around a drug fountain and these are almost everyone involved in politics now.

Lots of the people around him aren’t just indulging Trump - they genuinely believe in what he’s doing. Whether it be mass deportation, killing their domestic political enemies, or destroying NATO. The problem runs a whole lot deeper than Trump (which wasn’t really the case in his first term!)

Trump’s megalomania is their cover. They know that when the dust settles, they’ll slip into obscurity w/ their spoils of war & Trump’ll be blamed for the carnage. He’s not the only criminal in &/or adjacent to this administration. But he was the dumbest & neediest candidate to facilitate the heist.

Norway doesn't own Greenland. Well Erik did discover it in the late 900s, but Norway is quite out of the picture and has been since 1933 when the Permanent Court of International Justice ruled in favor of Denmark.

Oh, never mind.
