there are characters in my story that are naked and run in the woods. they prefer learning more into their animalistic nature instead of human-like characteristics. they are led by a wolf queen and her pack. they keep the ecosystem balanced, often protecting areas from deforestation

I always thought about this with my werewolf OC's lore.. like, he leans into animalistic traits, but at the same time he has a whole identity crisis because he's been born and raised human, so he's new to this whole... wolf thing. (Albeit, him being a hippie helps, lol.)

I feel like anthropomorphic stories often joke about or underutilize these aspects of anthropomorphic characters but what if some of them wanted to go back to being more of what their species is supposed to be, but in a happy way that gives them joy and a newfound family.
