Boy makes boy cry, but it's a womans fault? As always.

Yes, hate is taught, and children learn most from their parents, good or bad.

Yes, isn’t learned, aggressive cruelty in boys usually modeled by men in their lives and in media? Sure there are some vicious moms, but I’d be surprised if stats favor the gender dynamics in this image.

Yep, that's quite often where it comes from.

Most often but anyone who has experienced a born psychopath in the family knows those people can have the nicest families.

If this is about learned bullying, then I have mixed feelings. I understand mean parents can cause their kids to grow up angry, but not sure how that leads to them bullying ordinary kids. If there's just a mean parent, an angry child of the parent, and another ordinary kid, I don't see incentive.

Basically I feel like the hate is directed to the asshole parent, but not other ordinary kids, potentially ones that are trying to support and be friendly with the angry child.

My mother used to insult my interest in music and drawing, calling them stupid or useless hobbies. So I'd always end up saying the same to my friend, that their interest in art was dumb.

I realized this when I was 16 and still feel bad about it.

Give yourself credit for recognizing it got the tender young age of 16. Some people never get it and never stop passing it on.

BullπŸ’©! My adult daughter is an ardent Trump supporter, and I am a devout Democrat. Put an end to holding parents accountable for every thought their kids have. They can come up with their own ideas.

I would argue that the person the tongue comes from changes as the kid/person ages. For this preschool aged kid, parents are the biggest influence. Make the kid a bit older and it would be a classmate's tongue. Make them a teen and it would be a YouTuber's tongue. An adult: a politician or priest.

"Teach your children well"

I used to think no parent would directly teach antisocial behavior until my wife (A nanny) shared with me one of her clients explicitly instructed her to not teach her children to say "please" or "thank you" under any circumstance and, I quote, "My children take what they want."

Future is in hands.

Children are not born knowing how to hate, they must be taught. WTF is wrong with us?

Hate and even poor behavior is definitely taught. From political views down to dangerously cutting people off in grocery store parking lots with their kids in the car.

Hindsight is 20/20. I think everybody has a complaint against their parents, and mine are plenty. This cartoon hits so close to home. ❀️

I used to teach functional skills to disadvantaged young adults. Many were on their own at 16. Many were court ordered to attend. Only the ones with parents were bigots and bullys

Oh for Pete's sake. Kids also learn crap from getting beat up in bathrooms, social media on the school bus and alcoholic dads. Humans have been murderous jerks since the beginning of time; some worse than others. I'm not blaming my ex's terrible behavior on their moms. The moms were horrified, too.
