I would argue that the person the tongue comes from changes as the kid/person ages. For this preschool aged kid, parents are the biggest influence. Make the kid a bit older and it would be a classmate's tongue. Make them a teen and it would be a YouTuber's tongue. An adult: a politician or priest.

I have a young grandson, and I assure you that very few of his thoughts reflect those of his mother or me. He's very much his own person. Sometimes to the point of embarrassment. We can agree to disagree.
