I'm a cynic. I don't think Marxism will solve any of our problems either. I'm Gen-X. I've watched the Hippie Dippy love fest just collapse into Reagan cynicism, I've seen the communist state implode. I don't think human civilizations scale very well at such large populations.

It is reasonable to think that at some level, a majority of humans want those things, will happily settle with those things on their own terms, with their dignity intact.

Instead of believing that Love will Conquer All, ask yourself, what keeps people in poverty, illness, and hunger?

I don't believe in the power of love. Love can't change anything.

I believe a majority of us want peace and livelihood and a chance to enjoy life without suffering from poverty and illness and hunger and war. We want our kids and nieces and nephews to grow up safe.

I believe in reason.

How's this for compromise? I wrote one of my Senators and my Representative asking them to ditch pro-Israel money (both are Dems). I reiterated they have my vote in November, but if they do not address this, I will cut them off.

My other Senator is practically perfect in every way!

As primaries are approaching we need a candidate who will fight and end this Supreme Court as we know it and give us back a real functioning court. Without this we will be going nowhere.
