Do not share false narratives about birth control. Don’t demonize a contraceptive. I once saw someone on this site say everyone should rip out their IUDs. WHAT? I fucking LOVE my IUD. Yet people spread nonsense about birth controls, forgetting the whole point is control of our own bodies.

A lot of time people want to point to their bad experiences, or some symptom, and say a medicine is bad for everyone. They share false information because they’re sad, angry, and frustrated about their own experiences. That’s understandable but health care and medicine are FAR more complex than that
