i don't mind at all! for PDFs, both digital and print, i use affinity publisher (v2, not as part of the all-in-one suite they put out semi-recently). for EPUBs, i use sigil, and if the EPUB is image-heavy i use calibre to compress those. a lot of people will use calibre on its own, which also works.
