Just got back from my local game store and finally got the art book I’d been eyeing for so long used to be 40 and came down to 20 bucks as it turns out tho it maybe the most expensive thing I own it’s apparently going for 200 or more on eBay atm lol

Honestly I’m thinking I should step away for a bit so I can focus on getting stuff done (and maybe game more lol) but sharing art does I guess get me more comfortable sharing stuff in general in the future like I don’t do a whole lot besides gaming so gives me a more productive hobby I guess lol

Probably the only person that thinks about The Club as much as I do like it’s pretty fucking mid but it’s one of those games I weirdly like and I think deserves a remake to fix its problems instead of some game that’s already good as is also the soundtrack is fuckin fire dude lol

Doing some research on goth culture for something I wanna do in the distant future and one of the ppl it brought me to was a silent film actress Theda Bara who was famous for playing vampires and received the nickname “The Vamp”

Just to remind ppl to that a lot of shows that they love from ppl who worked on animated series on television tend to start out looking pretty rough just look up Bobs Burgers concept, 2 in the Am pm(regular show), Trepidation of the Skull by Maxwell Atoms and lots more that I’m to lazy to look up

The reality is that most pilots don’t get picked up and probably never will but they can still start careers for new talented folks who can contribute to other projects and maybe just maybe learn skills that they can apply to their own projects later

So they have no frame of reference for just how time consuming that not only animation is but even just something simple like an animatic can be like I think one thing that skews ppls perception is that they’re used to more polished pilots from ppl in large teams or industry ppl
