I made five batches, for a total of 23.8 L of syrup (plus another 0.3 L of unfiltered "dirty syrup" I'll use for cooking). Here they are, earliest to left and latest to right. You can see the colour deepening through the season.

That's from 594 L of sap, for a 25:1 ratio - sap has been the sweetest it's ever been, this year. I'm guessing that's our drought - the trees have as much sugar as ever, but less water to put it in?

I may get a little more sap. Although of my 11 taps, 7 have pretty much dried up; 4 were made a week later, so if weather cooperates they might still run. Any sap from those will go to a friend whose tree is not cooperating this year!
