That's from 594 L of sap, for a 25:1 ratio - sap has been the sweetest it's ever been, this year. I'm guessing that's our drought - the trees have as much sugar as ever, but less water to put it in?

I may get a little more sap. Although of my 11 taps, 7 have pretty much dried up; 4 were made a week later, so if weather cooperates they might still run. Any sap from those will go to a friend whose tree is not cooperating this year!

Here it is: the whole production from #BackYardSugarBush2026. Now just some tidying up to do: washing pots, all that fun stuff.
