Still perplexed by this morning’s meeting. Boss was freaking out that we closed the doors early and left without telling them. But he even helped us pull a car in, closed the doors and said “thank you, have a good night guys” and it was normal closing time?

Yeah, really strange. Maybe he’s under pressure and forgot, or he got a complaint from a customer?

He’s a good guy, but first time owning a shop. Came from a corporate world. We were an existing business that was doing well. First quarter is down and it’s the worst we had for years supposedly. But he changed up damn near everything so you tell me why it was slow. Not like a war started either.

Had a one on one meeting today. Said I do great and my quality is great, never any issues and hours are decent etc etc. I had to ask “Ok, what’s the issue then?” And he’s concerned I’m not giving all I can.

Well yeah no shit, it hasn’t been the same for 6 months now struggling to find purpose.
