Had a one on one meeting today. Said I do great and my quality is great, never any issues and hours are decent etc etc. I had to ask “Ok, what’s the issue then?” And he’s concerned I’m not giving all I can.

Well yeah no shit, it hasn’t been the same for 6 months now struggling to find purpose.

The weird one on one meeting might be a holdover habit from his old corporate job. They always have to come up with something you need to improve upon no matter how well you’re doing your job.

Yeah that eternal room for improvement or growth thing. Good work is rewarded with more work tho, and sometimes you have to stop giving more even if you possibly could.
