Australia WILL NOT cave into pressure from pharmaceutical giants & Trump by removing CCPs on common meds.

Trump imposed a new 100% tariff on branded pharmaceuticals imported into the US overnight, trying to force manufacturers to agree to drug-pricing

This doesn't affect us in Australia, we have free trade with Europe, UK, Canada, China etc ... Fatso wants all 🌏drug companies including ours all to move to the USA… to control & Capitalist 🐷💰US high price them. Otherwise, he'll make all Americans pay $100 more on their medication made outside USA.😏

Americans in the USA pay around $550 for an asthma inhaler & almost a grand for an insulin shot. We only pay $7 for them, Fatos kids Eric & Donald Jr run the pharmaceutical company's in the US. As a scam Fatso wants everyone in the world to pay US prices to make him, the hooker & his sporn richer.😡

None of his deals are real.
He's a born cheat. You'd just find him changing the terms at random.

The best policy is not to deal with him at all.

So explain to me how making Australia pay a tariff is going to help me? My meds going up 100% is not helpful and probably a death sentence.

Australia doesn't pay the tariff. It's importers in the US that pay the tariff.
The impact it has on Australia is that demand for meds from Aus companies reduces due to the price in the US. Which can impact their profits. So the price of meds in AUS does not change unless we apply counter tarrifs
