Tried not to be angry about Democrats cave on Tuesday. What upsets me is the debate about winners and losers. People without food, or people priced out of health care. Something is seriously wrong with our government if this is our choice of government funding priorities.

I wonder if all the laid off NOAA workers, or rural hospitals that will close from canceled Medicaid funds, or tribal health agencies that lost NIH grants, or farmers who lost USAID payments, and many others agree with Cole’s assessment.

I was listening to your show about political violence. What is the difference between political violence and school shootings? Both are committed by angry people with guns. Not much difference in my mind. So, why is anyone surprised. It is our culture now.
